About Our Clinic

The Student Chinese Herbal Medicine Clinic is staffed by our second-year interns, the majority of whom are already licensed acupuncturists. They are supervised by licensed faculty members with extensive clinical experience. In this clinic, patients can elect to be treated with herbs alone or with a combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine. Patients receive a custom raw herbal formula that has been created just for them to address their specific health concerns.

Elizabeth Liddell is a registered acupuncturist, a graduate of Bucknell University (B.A.) and Southwest听Acupuncture College (M.S.O.M), with NCCAOM board-certifications in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal听medicine. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she did her acupuncture training in Boulder, Colorado, where she had听access to a wonderful community of educators. Her training is TCM-based, and she provides TCM-style herbal听prescriptions while incorporating TCM, Japanese and meridian based styles into her acupuncture treatments. As听an adjunct faculty member at the 黑料社, Elizabeth enjoys teaching the growing numbers of听enthusiastic acupuncture and herbal students in PA.

Carol A. Goldman, DACM, Dipl. Ac, LOM, MS

Carol听became an acupuncturist and a certified herbalist after her first acupuncture treatment successfully put her on the road to healing after a prolonged post H1N1 infection. There in the acupuncturists office at the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountains in Mexico,听Carol听knew she needed to add Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to her established psychotherapy practice.听Carol听combines her acupuncture treatments with clinical counseling through the use of drum and tonal sounds to enhance the healing process. Notable experiences include – NYU Langone Labor and Delivery, NY VA Medical Center, Kamwo Meridian Pharmacy and Clinic, Columbia University Integrative Medicine.听Carol听completed her Doctorate in Chinese and Herbal medicine at The Pacific College of Health and Science, NY. She obtained her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College, and her undergraduate degree is from Jefferson University. Truly a Philadelphia native,听Carol听practices in Narberth, PA.听
